Goldwynn Resort Modern elegance, timeless shore

Set along the powder-white sands of Cable Beach, Goldwynn Resort brings a contemporary Bahamian sensibility to destination weddings. Clean architectural lines, ocean-facing terraces, and interiors that feel more curated boutique than traditional resort — this is the venue for couples who want their celebration to feel current, personal, and unmistakably island.

What we love about it

The rooftop terrace at sunset. You can see the full sweep of Cable Beach from the ceremony position, and the light lingers here longer than anywhere else on the western shore — it gives photographers an extra twenty minutes of gold.

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Where luxury meets paradise

World-class amenities, picturesque beaches, and the kind of service that makes the day disappear in the right way. The Grand Hyatt offers a range of stunning venues — a sophisticated ballroom for a grand celebration, an intimate ceremony by the turquoise waters — all within one resort.

What we love about it

The room-block flexibility. Hyatt understands destination weddings — they hold rooms, coordinate arrivals, and treat your guests like the celebration is theirs too.

The Cloisters At The Ocean Club · A Four Seasons Resort

Centuries-old French monastic architecture transplanted to Paradise Island, set high above the ocean amid the most maintained gardens in the Bahamas. The most iconic wedding venue on the islands — the one couples request by name before they’ve seen anything else.

What we love about it

The arch itself. Twelfth-century stonework reassembled here in the 1960s, and somehow the proportions still feel exactly right for a ceremony. No staging required — just stand under it.

Rosewood at Baha Mar Refined luxury, tropical serenity

Situated within the prestigious Baha Mar complex, Rosewood offers a fusion of refined elegance and tropical charm — with the quieter, more private register the Rosewood name carries. For couples who want polish without spectacle, this is where we begin the conversation.

What we love about it

The villas. For couples whose families want privacy alongside the celebration, Rosewood’s villa accommodations let the wedding party stay together without ever feeling on display.

Planning With Insight

The right venue is more than a beautiful view.

A destination wedding venue has to work for your guests, your timeline, your ceremony, your reception, your transportation, and your peace of mind. Anne Marie helps couples understand what each setting truly requires before they commit.

01

Match the venue to the couple

Every couple has a different rhythm. Some need privacy, some need resort convenience, some need a dramatic ceremony space, and some need guest-friendly logistics.

02

Understand the real logistics

Transportation, setup timing, guest arrivals, weather plans, vendor access, and reception flow all shape how the venue feels on the actual wedding day.

03

Use trusted local relationships

Local knowledge matters. Anne Marie helps couples navigate availability, venue expectations, preferred vendors, and the details that are not always obvious from a website.

You must be in The Bahamas for at least 24 hours before applying for your marriage license. We recommend arriving 3–4 days early so the license, final details, and venue logistics can be handled without pressure.

No we dont. But we can suggest the best suitable hotel options for your trip.

Island weather can shift quickly, so outdoor weddings should always have a beautiful Plan B. That may mean an indoor space, covered terrace, tent option, or adjusted timeline depending on the venue and guest count.

Because destination weddings involve many moving parts, true day-of coordination is rarely enough. The planning process works best when vendor details, timelines, documents, and venue requirements are reviewed well before the wedding day.

Yes. Couples may bring their preferred creative team. Anne Marie can help coordinate with them so they understand the venue, timeline, lighting, access points, and island-specific logistics. But they are required to obtain a Bahamian work permit in which Anne Marie can assit in obtaining.
